Premium rate number ranges begin with 09 and are used to provide a revenue source to an information provider. If you supply support services or information and would like to receive payment for every call you receive then you should consider this service.
There are rules governing the use of Premium rate numbers but providing that you comply with the rules and use the numbers responsibly you should have no problem in obtaining premium rate numbers from Plum.
Premium rate numbers can terminate on landlines, mobiles, a choice of destinations, voice mail or scripted auto attendant and call recording can be added on most numbers. Plum can also provide special content or voice over recordings and background music. Full statistics are available for most numbers.
Order a new number from Plum (usually active within 24 hours), transfer an existing number to Plum or request more information.
Premium rate numbers in the UK are monitored by ICSTIS an independent body and by taking a number you agree to use the number according to their terms of service which can be viewed here.
